Thornhill Nursery School & Kindergarten
At Thornhill Nursery School & Kindergarten we offer Pre-Nursery, Nursery, JK and SK programs for children aged 18 months to 6 (children in diapers are welcome). Our curriculum is designed by Registered Early Childhood Educators with the goal to provide our students with a solid foundation of skills that will allow them to reach their individual potential and to achieve success when entering the school system at Grade One. The standard public school requirements are used as a guideline for our curriculum, which is enhanced by adding a French component as well as an enriched reading program.

Pre-Nursery
At Thornhill Nursery School & Kindergarten offers a limited number of spaces for children 18 to 30 months of age. The child-to-teacher ratio in our Pre-Nursery class is 5:1.

Our
Kindergarten (JK and SK)
We provide a five-day JK and SK program, half or full days, for children who are ages 4 or 5 by Dec. 31. The child-to-teacher ratio in the JK and SK classes is 8:1. The JK/SK program is based on a five-day curriculum.
The Kindergarten students bring their own snacks/lunch as per Ministry of Education guidelines.
