This package outlines our registration policies and provides information for the 2012/13 school year at Thornhill Nursery School & Kindergarten.
Registration priority is given as follows:-
- Currently enrolled students
- Siblings of currently enrolled students and siblings of alumni
- Outside registrants
Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Completed packages may be mailed to the Thornhill Nursery School & Kindergarten, 140 Brooke Street, Thornhill, Ontario, L4J 1Y9, or dropped off at the school office between the hours of 8AM to 4PM.
To avoid disappointment, register early as classes fill up quickly.
In order to process your application, all of the following must be submitted:
- A completed registration package including all the forms.
- A non-refundable $55.00 registration fee for any new student.
- A currently-dated non-refundable deposit for the last month’s tuition fee (applied to June 2013 only).
- Nine post dated monthly tuition cheques dated the 1st of each month from September 2012 to May 2013.
If the program of your choice is filled to capacity, you may elect to choose an alternate program or place your name on a waiting list. For families with more than one child in the school, a 10% discount will be applied against the lower tuition fee for each additional sibling, excluding the registration fee.
The monthly fees for the 10-month programs are itemized below. The half day hours are 8:45 – 11:30 a.m. or 12:45 to 3:30 p.m. and the full day hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We will provide early and late pick up options between the hours of 8:15 – 8:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 12:15 – 12:45 p.m. and 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. The cost will be $5/hour or $3/half hour, with a half hour minimum. This service will be billed separately by monthly invoice.
